Rootcamp: The "Big Six"

Like learning a new language, building a functional wine vocabulary begins with understanding the fundamentals - body, acidity, tannin, fruit character, texture, weight, and so on. There's no better way to learn this, than to sit down with the Big Six - the six most fundamental grape varieties in the Somm tool box - and see what a difference a little compare and contrast can make!

Each wine is absolutely typical for the grape varietal, and of course, just delicious to drink on its own. The perfect box for a wine-loving friend, a student beginning their WSET courses, or any wine lover looking to brush up on their knowledge and blind tasting skills.
