Perched at nearly the top of Piedmont's most charming village of La Morra, the humble family operation known as Cantina Marengo is quietly churning out some of the region's most delicious reds.

Complex yet accessible, these wines have been a favourite of mine for nearly two decades; never disappointing on quality, value, and pure expression of terroir. The Langhe Nebbiolo is pure elegance, while the single-vineyard Barbera is so lip-smacking good, you'll hardly believe it. The Barolo Bricco della Viole is refined and wonderfully structured, while the Brunate shows the true power of La Morra's top vineyard sites.
